iAntenna hooked to WiFi routerYes, a wireless router commonly found in homes that connect to DSL or Cable modems can be used with the iAntenna system.

Follow the routers regular setup instructions (default configuration is to use a Dynamic IP Address) follow these instructions to use a Static IP Address:

  • Using an Ethernet cable, connect the Ethernet jack on the iAntenna power supply to the uplink port on the wireless router.
  • Follow the router manufacture's instructions on how to configure the router from "dynamic uplink IP address" to a "static uplink IP address".
    • Set Static IP address to 192.100.1.50
    • Set Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0
    • Set Gateway to 192.100.1.20
