What is the range of the iAntenna?

The iAntenna's high power Wi-Fi radio is designed for long distances.

The range is dependent on a number of factors namely:

• Output power of the Wi-Fi Internet service provider in the RV park.
• Obstructions between the iAntenna and the Wi-Fi network antenna.
• Location and type of antenna the service provider is using.

RVers using an iAntenna have reported connecting to networks over a mile away. While this is not always possible, it is not uncommon when connecting to a strong, well positioned Wi-Fi network in an environment clear of major obstructions.

Some RVers use modified iAntennas that can bring in signals from much further than a mile. One user reported a connection of over 20 miles (over water) using a parabolic dish style antenna.
