By definition, the iAntenna is different from common WiFi "adapters" because it is a WiFi "modem". Think about the Cable for DSL Modem you might find in your house.

To illustrate...there are lots of different FM/FM radios, from heavy complicated system in a home to the tiny hand held radios you might take while jogging. The AM/FM radio in your car is best designed for use in your car, right? A little hand held radio or a big sterio system from home would not be appropriate, would it!?

Well, there the wifi adapters found in laptops are great for lounging around a coffee shop or in the office...but in your RV, it's a different story. The iAntenna is designed to work with RVs for maximum range and easy use.

Laptop
  • Low Power
  • Blocked by RV structures
  • Locked to one computer
iAntenna
  • High power
  • Clear roof top transmission
  • Multiple Computers can use signal

The iAntenna:
  • Higher output power (over 3x more power)
  • Picks up very low power signals (7dBm more sensitive)
  • Sees 3-4 times MORE networks than built-in adaptors
  • Has a built in firewall and router (DHCP and NAT make life much easier)
  • Works with multiple computers
  • Works with all operating systems
  • Operates independent of a computer (PC doesn’t have to be on for the iAntenna to work)
  • Requires NO DRIVERS
  • Weather proof design for your vehicle
  • Easy to see LinkGauge shows you signal strength
  • Is immune to the RV blocking it's signal
