Is there a monthly charge?

Once you buy the equipment, RV2internet does not provide internet service or have monthly charges.

Do I need an ISP?

In short, no. Unlike satellite and cellular based technologies, a service provider or ISP is not required for the equipment to operate. Some owners choose to use the equipment with out an internet connection. However, logically speaking, an internet service provider is necessary in order to access the internet.

At Home

The iAntenna owner may choose to act as their own Wireless Internet Service Provider or WISP if they use WiFi to broadcast a their internet connection (DSL/Cable/satellite). Many homes use common wireless routers to broadcast their internet connection.

Campground
Many campgrounds do not charge for this service. Mega List of WiFi Campgrounds & Truck Stops

At times, however, some campground locations do have a internet service provider contracted to ensure high quality wireless internet service is available. They may charge for this service. This is up to the campground and service provider.

On the Road
Just about all truck stops in the United States offer WiFi internet for a fee. Many states offer WiFi internet service for free at rest stops along the highways.
