How do I fix a broken antenna?

Tree branches are the number one killer of antennas on an RV and the iAntenna is not immune.

When a tree branch does demolish the antenna on your coach there is a quick fix to get you back on your feet while waiting for a replacement antenna. 

A customer submitted two photos with some suggestions:

1. Find a 3/8" inner diameter plastic tubing that is a minimum of 6" long.
2. Glue the tube to the antenna base with Super Glue (watch your fingers). Note: this should be one of the thicker type glues for better filling.
3. Fill the top with glue from a hot glue gun.
   

This is only a temporary fix because when the tube fills with rain water, it ceases to function.
